BAGHLAN, May 13 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate conquered a number of the enemy combat posts in Baraka district of the northern province of Baghlan on Friday, while besieging a number of the enemy posts, according to Al-Emarah News.

As many as 18 joint enemy personnel were killed and an additional 24 were wounded the fighting continued for over 24 hours, it added.

Two commanders, Hussai and Jameel were among those killed in the operation and three commanders Khalid-e-Sabz, Khal and Bashir were among the wounded.

Mujahideen recovered a large quantity of arms, ammunition and military equipment from the enemy’s military units.

The police headquarters, district administrative building and other facilities are said to be under siege.

Early Saturday, the Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen intercepted the military convoys in Pol-i-Khomri district of this province, leaving 4 puppets dead and 3 more wounded, while two tanks were destroyed after coming under Mujahideen rocket fires.
