PAKTIA, Aug. 13 – A series of Mujahideen attacks in southeastern Afghanistan have killed as many as 15 puppets and left 2 others wounded, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

Early Saturday, 5 puppets were killed and 2 others suffered injuries when a landmine blast set off under the enemy tank and blew it apart in Jani Khel district of Paktia province.

An hour later, a similar attack left 3 enemy soldiers killed as the tank they were riding in was targeted by a roadside bombing close to the area in the mentioned district.

Almost simultaneously, two roadside bomb blasts destroyed two armored tanks elsewhere in Jani Khel district, leaving at least 7 minions killed.

Separately, Mujahideen launched an offensive targeting the enemy military installations in Ahmad Abad district of this province early Saturday, leading violent fighting. The enemy casualty toll has yet to be known, where a number of the enemy posts are said to be under Mujahideen tight siege.
