HELMAND, Jan. 06 – According to report, a hireling trooper has been killed a tactical mine blast in Yakhchal area, Nahr Siraj region of Gerishk district earlier today. Moreover, a gunman was killed and another one seriously wounded after being sniped in Khasar Abad area of Nawa district midday yesterday. Similarly, 2 police were shot and killed another one wounded in Zarh Sahib area of the said district afternoon hours yesterday. Another gunman is said to have been killed in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in PD4 of capital Lashkargah. Furthermore, an APC belonging to ANA was blown apart following an IED attack in Spin Masjid area of Gerishk district, leaving 2 including a hireling commander killed and another one wounded.
