Check dam worth over 3 million Afghanis constructed in Balkh

The Ministry of Rural Development, Reconstruction, and Development announced in its newsletter that the completion and inauguration of a check dam in Chamtal district of Balkh province has taken place.

The Ministry provided details stating that the check dam spans 17 meters in length and stands at a height of 4 meters. It boasts a water storage capacity of over 2,500 cubic meters.

Notably, the construction of this check dam also generated employment opportunities for dozens of individuals.
