Although there are issues and challenges in some sectors, Afghanistan gained progress in many areas since the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assumed power.

The occupation has been ended, security is excellent, the economy is expanding and exports are up, food and oil prices are down, government employees’ wages are paid on time, etc.

While all of this is going on, Afghanistan is subject to several political pressures and international sanctions, and foreign media outlets are portraying the situation of Afghanistan positive.

Analysts and economic experts predicted that the Islamic Emirate would experience many difficulties in the economic sphere before it came to power and in its early years of rule. However, in contrast to all of these predictions, Afghanistan’s economy has not deteriorated during this time, but has very grown well.

A few days ago, in the report published by the World Bank on the economic situation of Afghanistan, the economic situation of Afghanistan was said to be good, contrary to the estimates, the efforts of the Islamic Emirate in preventing financial inflation were praised and it was said that Inflation in the country was 18.3 percent in July 2022 and has been decreasing since then.

According to the World Bank’s report, the inflation in 2023 was further reduced, until it was 3.5% in February, and was reduced to 1.94% in March.

In the report, a positive change was also indicated regarding the stability of the currency and the increase in the level of exports and it was said that in the first three months of 2023, Afghanistan exported 600 million US dollars, which is It shows many folds increase compared to previous years.

The Islamic Emirate praised the latest report of the World Bank and called it a true picture of Afghanistan’s economic situation and stressed that with the lifting of international sanctions, the situation will improve and Afghanistan will make rapid progress towards economic stability.

This situation of Afghanistan is not only reliable, but due to the sound economic policy of the Islamic Emirate, the real fight against corruption and the unprecedented commitment and efforts in the field of development, it seems that Afghanistan will make more progress in the economic sector in the near future. God willing
