16 Potable water supply networks completed in Wardak

The Acting Minister of Rural, Reconstruction, and Development inaugurated the operation of 16 drinking water networks in Wardak. These networks, constructed in collaboration with the UNICEF office, serve the central area of Wardak province, as well as Syed Abad, Qar, Jaghato, Behsud, and Jalariz districts. The total cost of these projects exceeded 37 million Afghanis.

The implementation of these networks not only provided sustainable water supply but also created employment opportunities for numerous workers involved in the construction process. As a result, 2816 families residing in the central area and the aforementioned districts now have access to clean drinking water.
