HELMAND, Oct. 11 – Latest reports from Helmand province state that Mujahideen assaulted a hireling post close to Garamsir district center in Takhta Pul area overnight amid ‘Omari’ annual campaign. Attacks in which heavy and light arms were used, resulting in the post overrun after killing 10 puppets 7 of which left behind. According to details enemy has fled and abandoned 3 others check posts in the area due to fear of Mujahideen, bringing a large area under the control of Mujahideen. It is said that 3 AK rifles, 3 American PKM machine guns, 1 Sniper gun, 1 Dshk and various other war equipment has been seized. 3 Mujahideen are said to have been wounded while another one embraced martyrdom ( May Allah accept them).
