Prime Minister Meets Prime Minister of Qatar

KABUL, May. 13 – The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mr. Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, and the head of intelligence, Abdullah Al-Khalifa and a delegation called on the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, Al-Hajj Mulla Muhammad Hassan Akhund and his delegation in Kandahar province on Friday.

Qatar promised to strengthen relations with Afghanistan, increase trust, and to cooperate in educational, health and economic fields.

The Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund, thanked Qatar for its past and present cooperation, goodwill and sincerity, and emphasized on Qatar’s cooperation with the Afghan people and system.

During the visit, the country of Qatar was appreciated for and encouraged to play a greater role in strengthening the trust between the international community and Afghanistan.
