Kidney treatment center worth 4 million AFN opens in Zabul

ZABUL, Feb. 20 – Ministry of Public Health opened the Hemodialysis Department of Kidney Treatment Center at the cost of 4 million AFN In Zabul Provincial Hospital, said ministry of public health.

This center will filter blood for kidney patients whose kidneys have stopped working or have problems, or in other words, an artificial kidney is taken from them.

Acting Director of Zabul Public Health Department Dr. Mirwais Afghan appreciated the Ministry of Public Health for opening a kidney treatment center as before this patients of the province used to trevel to other provinces and foreign countries for treatment of kidney disease.

The Governor of Zabul requested the Deputy Minister of Public Health to increase his attention for Zabul because the people of Zabul have more needs in terms of health.
