Over the past year, the Afghanistan Electricity Company (DABS) has successfully settled all outstanding loans related to electricity purchases, including imported electricity from neighboring countries and domestic electricity production companies.

Notably, payments have been made to various nations, with $86.9 million to Uzbekistan, $66.1 million to Tajikistan, $36.8 million to Turkmenistan, and $37.7 million to Iran.

Additionally, domestic electricity production companies received a sum of 432.9 million Afghanis and $17.2 million in payment for electricity services.
