In accordance with a special decree from the Amir-ul-Momineen, (May Allah protect him), the approval for the construction of one check dam per district was granted across the country.
As part of this initiative, five check dams were recently completed in Laghman province. The Deputy Governor of Laghman, Maulvi Akhtar Muhammad Muzamal, along with other provincial officials, officially received the check dams.
The total cost for the construction of these five check dams amounted to 12 million Afghanis, and the funding was provided by the Islamic Emirate, as stated by the officials involved. This development will contribute to the water management and agricultural needs of the region.
