URUZGAN, Nov. 03 – Reports say, a hireling military base in Sarab area of Chora district was overrun after a siege of 3 days today, forcing the enemy to flee. The said base which was known as commander Jalil’s base has strategic importance in the area, to which about 7 commanders of other bases also fled. According to details, 1 APC, 3 ranger pickups, 1 mortar tube, 2 Dshks, 1 sniper gun, 2 rifles, 3 American PKM machine guns, 3 Russian heavy machine guns, 3 RPG launchers and various types of other military equipment was confiscated.
