KABUL, Nov. 12 – The delegation met with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ministers of Finance, Trade, Aviation and technical teams.

In his speech, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi briefed on the growth of trade between the two countries, Afghanistan’s key role in regional integration, the security situation and taking advantage of this opportunity to boost the economy of Afghanistan, Pakistan and the entire region. And ensured readiness of the Adghan side.

Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi ensured support and readiness that Afghan traders should have free access to all Pakistani ports, free movement of trucks, ease of movement of passengers, direct movement between Jalalabad-Peshawar. Commencement of bus services, increase in air travel, reduction in prices, training of youth in technical fields as per demand and requirement of Afghan government, increase in scholarships, provision of emergency financial, medical medicines in view of current conditions, provision of hospitals in Afghanistan. Ensured support and readiness i active and other important areas.

At the meeting, the Afghan and Pakistani leaders agreed to set up a high-level bilateral committee to facilitate trade and commerce on the roads, which would oversee the roadmap and prevent trade disruptions.

Finally, both sides emphasized the importance of such meetings and the exchange of views on the joint work and exchange of technical groups between different agencies.

Both sides described Afghanistan-Pakistan economic relations, peace and stability as the economic prosperity and stability of both nations and the region as a whole.
