Gun battles leave 10 dead in Logar; 3 enemy soldiers give in to Mujahideen

LOGAR, Oct. 11 – Two soldiers of puppet army were killed with a further 5 wounded with a military vehicle destroyed during a gun battle unfolded after the enemy ran into Mujahideen ambush in Pol-e-Alam city, the provincial capital of Logar province on Monday.

On Tuesday, Mujahideen attacked the enemy post and killed two puppets in the resulting firefight, while a minion was shot dead in a similar attack elsewhere later Tuesday.

Also Tuesday, two enemy soldiers surrendered themselves and their weapons to Mujahideen in Mohammad Agha district of the province.

In another report, a series of Mujahideen attacks killed at least 5 puppets and left 4 more wounded with destroying 5 vehicles including two supply trucks.
