BADGHIS, May. 01 – Amid fourth day of the fresh spring offensive ‘Operation Mansouri’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on Ghormach district administration center, police head quarter and defensive check posts overnight. Attacks of heavy and light arms resulting in the district and police HQ were overrun along with several check points, inflecting serious tolls to enemy as well as seizing an APC, 1 vehicle, 2 PK machine guns, 1 sniper gun, 1 RPG launcher, 6 rifles and various types of ammunition. 2 Mujahideen are reportedly wounded in the crossfire.
