KABUL, Nov. 16 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan met today with the Chinese Ambassador “Wang Yi” and discussed many important issues of mutual intrest with him.

Mr. Wang Yu assured that his country would continue to support the new Afghan caretaker government and views the relationship between the two countries as important.

The Chinese ambassador mentioned the assistance of winter goods by his country with the arrival of winter, which will provide the necessary assistance to the needy Afghans through a mechanism with the understanding of the relevant agencies.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his hope that the relations between the two countries will become deeper and stronger.

Mr. Muttaqi appretiated China for its willingness to restart the unfinished projects of general benefit of public.

He also praised China’s recent move to withdraw tariffs of 98 percent on Afghan products.
