Fighting in country’s south leaves 9 killed

GHAZNI, Oct. 17 – At least 8 puppets were killed and dozens more suffered injuries in a violent fighting unfolded after Mujahideen counterattacked the enemy offensive on the outskirts of the provincial capital of Ghazni province on Sunday, Al-Emarah News said, adding the enemy offensive was repulsed, while a Mujahid fighter sustained injuries in the enemy fire.

Early today, a policeman was shot and killed in a sniper attack in Khogyani distinct of Ghazni province.
