Expired medicine seized and disposed in Bala Baluk

FARAH, Dec. 27 – Health officials collected and burnt all kinds of food items, human and agricultural medicines from the market shops, medical and agricultural pharmacies.

Mullah Rahmatullah “Habib”, the head of health in Balablok district, said that today we have seized and burnt many food items and medicines, adding that no shopkeeper or trader will be allowed to sell outdated items in their day-to-day business, Habib also urged people to pay attention to history and quality of medicines while purchasing.

Residents in the Balablok district are constantly complaining about expired and substandard medicines as well as food items in pharmacies and shops.
