Enemy suffers heavy toll in country’s east

KUNAR, Feb. 2 – Late Wednesday Mujahideen shelled an enemy post in Surkani district of eastern Kunar province, a report said but gave no details of the enemy losses.

Early today, Mujahideen stormed an enemy army unit in Watapur district of Kunar province, prompting a firefight but is not yet clear if there are any casualties.

Similarly, Mujahideen and enemy exchanged fire that lasted half an hour in Marwara district of the province on Thursday. There are no reports of the enemy losses though.

In another report from Kunar, a puppet was injured in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Marwara district of the province on Wednesday evening.
