Enemy abandons further areas as key area overrun in Faryab

FARYAB, Jan. 03 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahieen conducted coordinated attacks on enemy positions in Qara Ghoyali area of Almar district, resulting in the area was completely overrun after taking control over 2 military bases and 5 check posts and killing 4 puppets including a hireling commander with leaving 8 others deadly wounded as well as forcing the rest to flee.
Likewise enemy has fled and abandoned various other surrounding areas of Jalguldi, Yathim Qashlaq, Dewana Khana, Dwon Kala after losing the aforementioned area.
Only a Mujahid was martyred and 2 other combatants sustained injuries during the operation.
