KABUL, Jan. 17 – Meeting of the Economic Board that was chaired by Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister of the IEA held on Sunday.
The meeting focused on Maiwand Bank, quality of rebar in factories, oil testing laboratories on ports, problems and challenges of the Al-Badr industrial complex, and over all situation of the country’s economy.
It was also decided that the electronic equipment for the transmission of Kajaki dam to Kandahar and Helmand provinces should be purchased immediately. It is noteworthy that the work of Kajaki Dam continues and in next year production capacity of Kajaki Dam will be increased to 150 MW which will benefit traders and people in the south of the country.
