KABUL, May. 21 – A delegation from Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Emarate leads by Haji Mali khan Sadiq, Deputy chief of staff of the Armed Forces met and discussed with the Islamic Republic of Iran delegation which headed by Mr. Bahram Hussiani Mutlaq, Deputy General chief of staff of the armed forces of Iran, at the Ministry of Defence, Foreign Relations Department, on Saturday, said defence ministry in a statement.

 

Deputy Chief of Staff, welcoming the Iranian delegation, mentioning the cooperation & good relations between the two neighboring countries, he said: the Islamic Emarate has always wanted good relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its is committed to further cooperation in various fields.

The Iranian delegation positively assessed the commitments of the two countries in various fields and assured the strengthening of relations..

 

following the meeting, the two sides underscored on border issues, strengthening joint cooperation and solving their problems through negotiation and dialogue.

 

Meanwhile, a number of border officials from the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Borders & Tribes, Ministry of Agriculture & Lands & a representative from the General Directorate of Intelligence were participated.
