KABUL, Mar. 13 – The country’s exports this year will total $1 billion and 900 million, up 63 percent from last year, according to a statement from the office of the economic deputy prime minister.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Industry and Trade assures that it will provide more facilities for traders and exporters.

The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Akhundzadeh Abdulsalam Javad, stated that the most common imports were linen textiles from nations like Pakistan and China, and the most common exports were coal, pine nuts, and carpets.

 

The National Bureau of Statistics says that only in the month of Aquarius, more than 176 million dollars worth of domestic goods were exported abroad.
