During the last 44 years of civil war, Afghanistan suffered not only wars and insecurity, but the country’s schools, universities, roads, bridges, culverts and all the economic infrastructure were also destroyed therefore the economy of the country seriously affected.

Unfortunately, under the previous administration, immersed in corruption, embezzlement, bribery, and bureaucratic malpractices, not only security and stability were compromised in the country, but economic infrastructure of the country was also destroyed.

Luckily, with the arrival of the Islamic Emirate, not only peace and stability has been ensured throughout the country, but infrastructures through out the country is being built day and night.

A good example is the construction of the Qushtipa Canal in the northern provinces, which fortunately has been about to be completed and will be put to use in the near future.

This great achievement will play a constructive and decisive role in strengthening the national economy and will also provide employment opportunities to many young and unemployed people of the country.

The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Zabihullah Mujahid following his recent visit of this great economic canal, expressed that most of the works of the first phase of 108 kilometers have been completed in the last eight months.

This great historical measure will not only grow the national economy, but will also play an important role in eliminating unemployment in the country.
