Cabinet Approves New Tax Collection Protocols

KABUL, Oct. 07 – In a meeting of cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, chaired by Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, a new procedures for taxes collection has been approved.

Recently, Ministry of Finance, proposed new standard of tax collection to the Economic Commission and the Ministry of Finance was entrusted with the task of collecting the tax based on the new norm of procedures.

In the meeting, the Ministries of Finance and Education have been asked to settle issue of payment for the land of Arzaq State Company of the Ministry of Finance in Sar-i-Pul province, where a school was built by the Department of Education in light of the provisions of law.

The Ministry of Energy and Water has been entrusted with the task of dealing with the issues related to the production and distribution of electricity in the center of Nooristan.

Based on decision of cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate, the economic commission should listen and submit acceptable ideas to the cabinet meeting, including the report (9) of the contract of the ministries of energy and Water and Rural Rehabilitation and development.
