Around 100 children to be sent to Germany for treatment

KABUL, Feb. 11 – According to officials of Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) a delegation from Peace Village International, based in Germany, came in Kabul to assess children who need to be taken to Germany for medical treatment.

 

Less than 100 youngsters can benefit from the service, according to a member of the delegation.

 

On the first day of evaluation, the charity chose 20 out of 120 kids to be transported to Germany for medical care.

 

Irfanullah Sharafzoi, a spokesman for the Afghanistan Red Crescent Society, stated that some of the children’s medical records will also be transferred to Germany for a medical evaluation.

 

Since 1988, more than 4,000 Afghan children have received treatment in Germany through Peace Village International in Germany.
