    KABUL, Jan. 11 –  Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the IEA, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, met with the Director of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization “FAO” for Afghanistan, Richard Tranchard.
    The meeting, which was held at the Minister of Agriculture’s office, Mr. Richard briefed Minister of Agriculture about his activities and seek to strengthen coordination across program implementation.
    The Minister of Agriculture described the activities of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization as effective in solving the problems of the country’s farmers and ranchers and assured the Director of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Afghanistan of all kinds of cooperation from the Ministry of Agriculture. .
