KABUL, Oct. 27 – Alhaj Mohammad Issa Akhund,  the acting minister of mines and petroleum, met with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in his office.

The TAPI pipeline project, which is a major and important project for both countries, is divided into several parts, starting from the border of Turkmenistan and reaching Herat and then to the five provinces of Afghanistan was discussed in details while the acting minister of mines and petroleum said that we have been working hard and are ready to take pride in starting work on the TAPI project and we will discuss security with the relevant departments.

Mr. Awzov, while praising the leadership of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, said that a delegation from his country would visit Afghanistan from October 30 to 31, 2021 to acquire 150 km of land for power and gas projects.
