KABUL, Jan. 02 – Honorable Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Acting Minister of Interior of the Islamic Emirate met with Marcus Putzel, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, Scott Smith the UNAMA’s Deputy Director of Political Affairs and the complying delegation, said ministry of anterior in a statement on Monday.
Mr. Potzel appreciated leadership of the Ministry of Interior for its cooperation and the improvement of the security situation and shared his concerns regarding the education of girls and the imposition of other restrictions.
Acting Minister of Interior said; The leadership of the Islamic Emirate works and committed for the well-being of its people. Efforts are being made to solve all the problems, a reasonable and permanent solution is being worked on; Such that it is compatible with Sharia rules and the culture of our people.
