KANDAHAR, Feb. 24 – A hireling check post in Ataa Karez area, Kala Shamir region of Maiwand district was overrun by Mujahideen overnight following a brief resistance, killing 6 puppets and recovering a rifle and other tools.
Similarly, a hireling tank was shred into pieces close to a military base in Koyak area of the said district midday yesterday, leaving all gunmen killed or hurt inside.
Furthermore, 3 check post’s guards were shot and killed by sniper in Ashkh Abad area of the said district on Friday.
