URUZGAN, Jul. 29 – Mujahideen carried out coordinated assaults on enemy check posts in Darshanak and Zartali areas of Dehrawod district overnight. Attacks of heavy and light arms, resulting in a check post overrun after killing 3 puppets, leaving 2 others wounded and destroying a ranger and 3 motorbikes. A binocular, 2 rifles and a sizable amount of war tools have been recovered. Meanwhile, 2 more gunmen were killed and another one wounded amid a Mujahideen ambush in Darshanak area.
