7 rangers, 2 tanks seized as large area cleared in Faryab

FARYAB, June. 17 – Amid ongoing spring offensive ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen launched coordinated attack on various enemy posts and bases in Qarye area of Almar district overnight, forcing the enemy to flee without any resistance bringing a large area including a strategic base and the surrounding check posts under the control of Mujahideen, says Al Emarah news.
As many as 7 ranger pickups, 2 armored tanks, 7 motorbikes and a sizable amount of other war equipment was seized in the operation.
