NANGARHAR, Jan.8 – At least 5 enemy soldiers were killed and 3 more were wounded with a tank destroyed in clashes with Mujahideen in Mohmand Darah district of eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, while more losses were inflicted on the enemy in clash last night and on Tuesday in the said district.
Early Tuesday, an Arbaki commander was killed when the vehicle carrying him hit landmine blast in Bati Kot district of the province.
In a report from neighboring Laghman province, 1 Arbaki was killed after Mujahideen attacked a check post in Alishang district of the province on Tuesday night.
In another report form Laghman, Mujahideen combatants targeted the U.S base in Qarghayi district of the province with missiles last night. There is, however, no information on the enemy casualty toll.
