HLEMAND, Jul. 27 – Reports say, a hireling check post between Band Barq and Sar Band areas of Gerishk district came under a Mujahideen attack overnight, overrunning the check post after a brief resistance forcing the enemy to flee leaving 3 corpses behind while an APC was destroyed, too. A PKM machine gun and several ammunition have been seized as war spoils. Another report says, at around 6:30 am local time on Wednesday, a gunman was killed and 2 others wounded after Mujahideen surprised an enemy patrol in Awpashak Manda area of the said district.
