5 check posts overrun in Helmand, 36 killed or hurt

HELMAND, July. 13 – Amid ongoing spring offensive Omari Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on 4 enemy check posts located in Sor Ghozyano and Kandahar terminal areas of Sangin district overnight, resulting in all 4 check posts overrun leaving 29 puppets killed or hurt as well as a tank destroyed.
It is said that a large amount of war equipment was also recovered.
Meanwhile another enemy check post was overrun in Labrez Karez area of Germsir district where a ranger, 1 Dshk, and a sizable amount of war equipment was seized.
According to details 2 Mujahideen were martyred and 3 others wounded in aforementioned operations.
