46 killed, 11 APCs and vehicles destroyed as 3 posts overrun in Maiwand

KANDAHAR, Nov. 14 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on ANP and ALP check posts along the road to Herat province in Mandozo camp and Khak Chopan areas of Maiwand district last night.
Attacks of heavy, light and sniper guns lasted till midnight, resulting in 3 check posts overrun completely, after killing 46 puppets, including 4 key commanders – Raziq, Shin Khali, Hayat and Gulalai – as well as destroying 4 APCs, 6 ranger pickups and another vehicle while forcing the rest to flee leaving corpses behind .
A Dshk gun with 9000 rounds, 9 PKM machine guns, 4 RPG launchers with 36 rounds, 24 rifles, 2 pistols, 2 binoculars and other tool have been seized by Mujahideen.
It is said that 6 Mujahideen have been wounded and 2 others have embraced martyrdom in the operation.
