3 police stations, 9 check posts overrun in Nad Ali

HELMAND, Aug. 02 – Reports say throughout yesterday heavy clashes continued against enemy positions in the surroundings of Nad Ali district administration center.
According to details 3 police stations of Khushhal Killi, Seyadabad Killi, Lal Jan and Zangala areas and nearby 9 check points have been overrun, causing serious casualties to enemy and bringing a large area under the control Of Mujahideen.
2 PKMs, 2 RPG launchers, a heavy machine gun, 4 AKs, 2 rifles and other ammo are said to have been recovered in the operation.
It is mention able that as many as 9 pots were overrun last day in Marjah district of the same province and a check post in Garmsir district, inflecting serious toll to hireling as well as seizing a sizable amount of war equipment.
