3 killed as check post overrun in Miyanisheen, equipment seized

KANDHAR, Aug. 31 – Mujahideen assaulted 2 enemy check posts in Sarnawi area of Miyanaisheen district at around 10:00 pm local time on Tuesday, says Al Emarah news.
The gunfight continued till late night, resulting in a check post completely overrun, leaving 3 puppets killed inside and forcing the rest to flee leaving behind corpses on the battle ground.
According to details a ranger pickup, 1 RPG launcher, 5 rifles and other war equipment was seized.
Similarly enemy also suffered heavy casualties in the second check post which are unknown at the moment.
A Mujahideen is said to have been martyred during the operation.
