HELMAND, Sep. 20 – Reports arriving from Nawa district of southern Helmand province state that Mujahideen assaulted 3 Arbakis bases in Namro area overnight amid ongoing ‘Omar’ annual campaign.
Attacks of heavy and light arms forced the enemy to flee after a brief resistance, killing 3 gunmen on the spot and overrunning all three bases.
As many as 3 motorbikes, several types of weapons and other war equipment was seized.
A Mujahid was also wounded in the operation.
