3 enemy post overrun in Lashkargah, tank destroyed

HELMAND, Oct. 08 – Reports arriving from southern Helmand province state that Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on enemy positions in Bolan and Basharno area of capital Lashkarah overnight amid ongoing Omari annual campaign.
Attacks of heavy and light arms are said to be still underway, so far 3 enemy check posts and 2 military centers have been overrun, a ranger pickup a motorbike and a large number of ammo and equipment seized.
Reports add 2 enemy posts are under tight besiege of Mujahideen in Mamor Api area the details of which will be updated later.
