3 combat posts fall to Mujahideen in Nuristan; over 5 killed

NURISTAN, Nov. 22 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate have seized 3 of the enemy posts in the intense fighting underway in Do Ab district of Nuristan province over the past 6 days, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

Reports coming in of the fighting, Mujahideen overran an enemy combat post early Tuesday in the said district killing 4 policemen and leaving a further 3 injured, while two of the enemy post fell to Mujahideen in Monday’s fighting in which an unknown number of the enemy military personnel suffered casualties.

Heavy fighting is said to be in progress in the said district.

Sadly, the enemy targeted the civilians and left 1 child and 3 women fatally injured.

In another report, an Arbaki was killed and one wounded in brief exchange of fire in Kamdish district of the province on Monday.
