PAKTIA, Nov. 22 – 20 tons of low-quality and expired medicines have been seized from pharmacies, companies and wholesalers in Gardiz, the capital of Paktia province, and disposed, reports Paktia Public Health Department,

 

Dr. Muhammad Sharif Ahmadzai, Director of the Inspection Commission for Quality and Medicines of the Department of Public Health, told the media that in the past 9 months, 72 items from different districts of the province, including the center of Gardiz, and 20 tons of bad quality and expired medicines have been seized and disposed off.
