HELMAND, Sep. 09 – At around 7:00 am local time today a policeman was killed and another one seriously wounded after their patrol came under a Mujahideen bombing close to Nawa district center. A hireling reinforcement vehicle was destroyed by a landmine attacks in Dashat area overnight. Previously, a policeman has surrendered himself to Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen in Aeinak area of the said district midday yesterday, handing a PKM machine gun, 2 rifles, and a mortar round to Mujahideen, too. Similarly an enemy commander – Muhammad Jan – has repented his mistakes and left enemy ranks along with his 3 gunmen in Marjah district overnight.
