PAKTIA, Aug. 31 – As many as 19 puppets have been killed in a series of Mujahideen attacks in southeastern Paktia province, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

In one attack, 6 puppets lost their life and many others suffered injuries with 2 tanks destroyed in the provincial capital of Paktia province early on Wednesday.

Elsewhere in abovementioned district, Mujahideen repulsed the enemy late Tuesday as the enemy attempted to move forward into the district center and a violent fighting broke out in which at least 5 puppets were killed and a further 4 sustained injuries. An armored tank was also shot and destroyed during the clashes.

A couple days ago, 48 puppets had been killed in the said district whose bodies are said to be still at the site. A large number of the enemy soldiers were wounded, while Mujahideen seized from the enemy over 100 light and heavy guns with a good deal of ammo.

Furthermore, 16 military vehicles and 15 tanks were destroyed in the attack.

In another report from Paktia, at least 2 Arbakis were killed and 7 others were wounded in three blast in rapid succession in Ahmad Khel district of the province.

Separately, an Arbaki surrendered to Mujahideen with his weapon in the provincial capital of neighboring Paktika province on Tuesday.
