HELMAND, Aug. 24 – Reports arriving from Gerishk district state that Mujahideen attacked enemy troops under siege in Chargul Pump and Shindak Manda areas of Nahr Siraj region while they were wanted to flee towards the capital Lashkargah from their posts. During attacks 2 enemy APCs were torn apart by landmine attacks close to Maktab Golaie area. Similarly 2 ranger pickups were destroyed by roadside bomb attacks in Shindak Manda area, leaving 17 gunmen killed or wounded.
