FARYAB, Mar. 24 – Officials say, 17 border police troops including a hireling commander – Ajmal Kohi – have repented their mistakes and laid arms before Islamic Emirate Mujahideen in the surroundings of Juma Bazar district early Thursday, handing over 16 rifles with ammunition vests, 1 PK machine gun, 1 RPG launcher, 2 grenades, 2 vehicles to Mujahideen.
It must be mentioned that in the same district another enemy commander – Mujib-ur-Rehman – was also surrendered along with his 5 gunmen last week bringing plenty arms and vehicles to Mujahideen, too.
