15 killed in Mujahideen attacks in eastern Afghanistan

NANGARHAR, Mar. 18 – The Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen counterattacked the enemy’s joint offensive in Ghani Khel district of Nangarhar province on Saturday, forcing the enemy to retreat with heavy losses.

At least 6 enemy military personnel were killed and 3 more suffered wounds, while a Mujahid fighter embraced martyrdom with another one injured in yesterday’s fighting.

In the province’s Surkh Rowd district, 2 bomb blasts killed 5 Arbakis and left 2 more wounded with a vehicle destroyed on Saturday.

Separately, Mujahideen pounded the Jalalabad airbase with missiles late Saturday but there is no information on the enemy casualty toll.

On Sunday morning, 4 enemy soldiers were killed and 3 more suffered wounds with a tank destroyed in gun battle with Mujahideen in Mohammad Darah district of Nangarhar province, while a Mujahid became martyr with another one injured in the exchange of fire.
