15 killed, 4 arrested as 3 posts overrun in Farah

FARAH, Nov. 19 – According to reports Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on enemy check posts in Farah Rod district’s Bazar area last night amid ongoing ‘Operation Mansouri’,.
Attacks of heavy, light arms and sniper guns lasted for about 4 hours, resulting in 3 enemy check posts overrun after killing 15 puppets, arresting 4 others and destroying a tank.
3 PK machine guns, 2 RPG launchers, 7 rifles, 1 vehicle and a score of other ammunition were recovered from the posts.
A Mujahid is said to have been wounded.
Later on, enemy as usual heavily bombarded civilians in the area, causing serious toll to them.
