BAGHLAN, May 24 – Al-Emarah said Mujahideen conducted attacks on the check posts along Kabul-Mazar-i-Sharif highway last night, killing 12 puppets and leaving 9 others wounded, while the highway between Baghlan and Mazar-i-Sharif has remained closed off since yesterday.
Two tanks were destroyed in last night’s fighting, while 2 Mujahideen fighters are said to have embraced martyrdom with 3 more wounded.
In the province’s Borka, 5 Arbakis changed side to Islamic Emirate and joined Mujahideen on Tuesday.
Also Tuesday, Mujahideen pushed back the enemy advance in Poli Khomri district of the province, leaving a number of the enemy security personnel dead and wounded.
Similarly, Mujahideen blocked off the road between Mazar-e-Sharif and Kabul province’s on Tuesday.
