KANDAHAR, Jan. 13 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Masnouri’, Mujahideen attacked a check post of ANA in Kikak area of Ghorak district last night, sparking intense gunfight of heavy and light arms that lasted for 30 minutes and resulted in the post was overrun, killing 11 puppets inside and forcing the rest to flee leaving corpses behind.
An APC, 1 Dshk gun, 2 American PKM machine guns, 2 rifles, 2 binoculars and other equipment was sized in the operation.
A Mujahid was also martyred in the crossfire.
